Our Head Start/Early Head Start programs offer a Certified Child Development Specialist Apprenticeship program through the Missouri Department of Labor.  Employees and anyone from the community may apply.  Once completed, the Apprentice has obtained a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) and has completed a total of 4,000 hours of education and work experience.  For those not employed at our agency, the fee is $1,500 which includes the CDA textbook and examination fee.
